Melissa Roberts

I am a student at Ontario College for Art and Design University in downtown Toronto, majoring in Digital Futures. I started drawing and painting longer ago than memories reach. In the last couple years my work as an artist has expanded from traditional art to digital media. 

Digital media includes illustrations, animation, video and short films, coding and generative art, and many more fascinating disciplines. I am constantly chasing the next challenge, the next style or discipline to uncover. Digital media combines art and technology, and in a society where technology is evolving so rapidly, that means digital art is evolving, too. Keeping up with new ideas, styles, mediums, and methods is a race no artist will ever win. But it's a whole lot of fun to try.
